A new socio-political film, “The tenants of the house”, has been released and is theatrically released.

Based on the novel written by Dr. Wale Okediran, who is also the producer, “The Tenants of the House” is a film about the ruling conspiracy, dangerous romance, girl-rearing and of course conspiracy theory.

Okediran wrote the book to document parts of his experience as a former member of the House of Representatives. The book won the 2013 Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature.

According to Okediran: “ The Bank of Industry granted me a loan to shoot the film and also provided me with technical support ”

The film is a visual political exposition of Nigeria’s ruling class, including the conflict between personal and national interests shrouded in a costume of emotions. The nagging issues of pastoralist / farmer conflicts and corruption in high places were also touched on succinctly in the film.

“The Tenants of the House,” which stars actors like Joselyn Dumas, Yakub Mohammed, Dele Odule and many more, is directed by director Kunle Afolayan ace and is now available in major theaters across the country. country.
